At GSI’s Annual All Staff Conference held in Bohol, Philippines, in June, Arbie Bernante was honoured with the Special Recognition for Outstanding Business Acumen award.
This recognition highlights Arbie’s exceptional ability to combine analytical thinking, commercial expertise, and strategic execution to deliver meaningful results for both clients and the business. Originally a member of GSI’s Business Analysis team, Arbie stepped into the A-Perform team when there was a need to strengthen its analytical and commercial capabilities. He embraced the opportunity without hesitation, quickly establishing himself as a trusted advisor and providing valuable expertise in business readiness, financial analysis, and strategic decision-making.
Since joining A-Perform, Arbie has played a key role in driving business growth and shaping the team’s strategic direction. He now leads many of the team’s growth initiatives, leveraging his strong commercial acumen to identify new opportunities, create value for clients, and support long-term business success.
Arbie’s impact extends well beyond analysis. He successfully planned and delivered a series of A-Perform roadshows, helping showcase the team’s capabilities, strengthen stakeholder engagement, and raise awareness of the value A-Perform brings to clients. He has also assumed a growing leadership role within GSI’s Financial Services vertical, leading business analysis activities and managing client relationships with professionalism, expertise, and a customer-focused approach. His willingness to step outside his comfort zone, embrace new challenges, and consistently achieve results has made him a respected leader and valued contributor across the organisation. He is also the Editor-in-Chief of GSI Hub – GSI’s platform for news and insights platform.
