Shaping the Future of Talent: GSI’s PFIP Karir Expo Experience

We’re excited to share the success of our recent Career Fair, which also marked a meaningful milestone for us.

It was GSI’s first time participating in the Philippine Financial & Inter-Industry Pride (PFIP) Karir Expo, and it turned out to be a fantastic experience.

We had the opportunity to connect with a diverse and high-potential talent pool. In total, we engaged with 223 candidates and conducted 30 focused screenings during the event.

From our broader resume pool, we observed a strong concentration of talent in Finance & Accounting (approximately 45%), followed by Operations & Shared Services (around 25%).

Customer Service and BPO roles accounted for about 15%, while Technology, Engineering, and Digital roles made up roughly 10%. The remaining 5% represented a diverse mix of other disciplines, highlighting the depth and versatility of today’s workforce.

Beyond the numbers, what truly stood out was the quality and readiness of the candidates we met.

Many already bring hands-on exposure to audit processes, financial analysis, high-volume operations, compliance, and workflow optimization, even at early stages in their careers.

We also engaged with individuals experienced in SLA-driven environments, data handling, and cross-functional collaboration. This reinforces the strength of the emerging talent pipeline for Shared Services and global operations.

The energy throughout the event was incredibly positive, filled with meaningful conversations, curiosity, and a shared enthusiasm for growth and opportunity.

Most importantly, this experience reaffirmed our belief that the next generation of talent is not only skilled and adaptable, but also deeply aligned with values that matter.

These include ownership, collaboration, continuous learning, and a future-first mindset. These are the qualities that will enable organizations to thrive in an increasingly dynamic and fast-evolving landscape.

We extend our sincere appreciation to PFIP for inviting GSI to be part of the Karir Expo and for creating a platform that champions both diversity and meaningful career opportunities.

We’re grateful to have been part of such an inspiring initiative and look forward to participating in more PFIP events in the future.

To everyone who visited our booth and shared their journey with us, thank you for making this event both impactful and memorable.

We’re excited about what’s ahead as we continue building strong, future-ready teams together.
