On 24 April 2026, GSI moved out of the office and into the inspiring setting of the F1 Hotel for an offsite training session titled “Storytelling through Powerful Presentation.” The session gathered 19 participants who were keen to strengthen a core leadership skill: presenting with purpose, clarity, and impact.
Throughout the session, participants explored a simple but powerful idea—great presentations tell stories. Instead of relying on slides packed with charts, numbers, or text, the session challenged attendees to design presentations as narratives. Each slide needed a clear role, guiding the audience toward a specific message and outcome. Whether speaking to clients, board members, or internal teams, the objective remained consistent: make the message resonate and stay memorable.
Presenting The GSI Way
The session anchored its lessons on the GSI Way of presenting. This practical framework emphasises three essentials: a clear goal, a structured story, and a strong impact. Participants used this approach to assess how they build presentations and to identify ways to sharpen focus, flow, and effectiveness in their own decks.
GSI CEO Gel Nolasco, who developed the GSI Way, led the session. Known across the organisation as a master presenter and storyteller, Gel drew from years of experience—especially presenting to board members—to illustrate how audience expectations shape presentation style.
He strongly emphasised knowing the audience. Gel explained how presenting to senior leaders taught him to be more intentional, concise, and story-driven. A message that works for a team meeting may fall flat in a boardroom, and strong presenters adjust accordingly. Despite these differences, Gel underscored that the GSI Way applies to any audience when used thoughtfully.
Through real-world examples, practical insights, and candid reflections, Gel showed how presenters can turn stories into tools for clarity, alignment, and decision-making.

Meaningful Takeaways
By holding the session offsite, GSI created space for focused learning, thoughtful discussion, and open exchange. Participants left with practical techniques they can apply immediately, along with a renewed confidence in building presentations that do more than inform.
More than just a skills workshop, “Storytelling through Powerful Presentation” reinforced a shared GSI standard: how we present reflects how we think. By aligning goal, story, and impact, GSI continues to strengthen the way its teams communicate ideas—clearly, confidently, and with purpose.
