As a Business Analyst working alongside teams that support key PGA programs and operational functions, I have gained a deeper appreciation of the important role community pharmacies play within Australia’s healthcare system. This experience has also highlighted the significance of maintaining efficient, accurate, and well-governed support programs that allow pharmacies to focus on serving their patients.
Our GSI team contributes across several critical operational areas, including administration, claims processing, reporting, governance support, stakeholder engagement, and process improvement. Although these activities may not be highly visible to the public, they are essential in ensuring the smooth delivery of services and programs relied upon by pharmacies nationwide. Every claim processed, report generated, query resolved, and workflow enhanced contributes to a larger ecosystem that supports healthcare delivery at the community level.

Through close collaboration between onshore and offshore teams, we have been able to maintain service quality, improve operational performance, and support the program’s objectives.
