Panglao, Bohol — Guild Solutions Inc. (GSI) wrapped up its all-staff conference from 6–8 June 2026, bringing employees together under the theme “Same Roots, New Paths.” Held in Panglao, the three-day event blended strategy, storytelling and celebration, reinforcing GSI’s evolving role within the broader Guild Group. Setting the Direction

Setting the Direction

The conference opened with CEO Gel Nolasco, who shared company updates, key achievements from the past year, and a clear outlook for the year ahead. His message centred on growth, adaptability and the shared responsibility of teams across GSI in shaping what comes next.

This was followed by a keynote from Guild Group COO Melissa Joseph, who provided an update on the Group’s broader strategy and performance. She highlighted GSI’s growing influence as a key driver of the Group’s expansion—both through its own growth and by supporting other businesses.

Melissa noted that while GSI continues to deliver strong operational support, it is increasingly stepping into a broader role as a hub for technology, analytics, marketing innovation and insight-led capabilities.

Importantly, she encouraged leaders to keep challenging how GSI is positioned within the Group—pushing beyond its traditional role and continuing to find new ways to create value.

Looking Back, Moving Forward

A standout session of the day was the leaders’ panel, featuring pioneers of Guild’s Manila operations—Michael Cabral, Laly Santos-Lamboloto and Renz Caparas. The discussion offered a candid look at their journeys with Guild, from its early days through to where it is now.

Their reflections struck a chord with the audience, highlighting the importance of resilience, teamwork and staying grounded in shared values while adapting to change.

The program also included team games and energisers, adding a lighter touch and helping bring people together across teams.

A Personal Journey: From Roots to New Horizons

Adding a more reflective note to the programme, CEO Gel Nolasco took the stage to share his personal journey to Australia—an account that resonated deeply with employees. He spoke candidly about the challenges he faced early on, from adapting to a new environment to navigating uncertainty, and how those experiences shaped his perspective as a leader.

Nolasco highlighted the importance of resilience, continuous learning and staying grounded in one’s identity, even while pursuing new opportunities. His story underscored a key message for the organisation: growth often comes with discomfort, but it is through these moments that individuals and teams discover their potential.

Tying closely to the conference theme, his reflections reinforced the idea that while pathways may change, staying connected to one’s roots—values, culture and purpose—remains essential. The talk struck a meaningful chord with the audience, offering both inspiration and a reminder of the shared journey that continues to shape GSI’s future.

A Night of Recognition and Celebration

Day one wrapped up with a lively beachside celebration, where employees gathered to recognise achievements and celebrate as a team.

Time to Explore

Day two took a different pace, giving staff the chance to explore Bohol and unwind. Teams headed out to experience some of the island’s well-known attractions, including the Chocolate Hills, tarsier sanctuaries, river cruises, and more.

The downtime offered a valuable opportunity for informal bonding, allowing colleagues to connect beyond the workplace while taking in the local scenery.

Grounded and Looking Ahead

The 2026 GSI All-Staff Conference struck a balance between reflection and forward thinking. By revisiting its foundations while embracing new opportunities, GSI reinforced its direction as a growing, evolving part of the Guild Group.

With a clear message of “Same Roots, New Paths,” the event underscored a shared commitment—to honour where the organisation has come from, while continuing to push into new territory.
